2024年度「中學學位分配辦法﹕中一自行分配學位」

(2024年9月入讀中一) 

 

1.派發報名表日期  

即日至2024年1月16日(星期二)

家長或監護人可於學校辦公時間親臨本校校務處索取報名表格。

報名表格亦可於本校網頁下載。                                   

 

 

2.遞交報名表日期及文件

2024年1月2日(星期二)至2024年1月16日(星期二)

 

3.請於報名日期內,填妥報名表格,連同下列文件於辦公時間交回本校校務處︰

教育局提供的「中一自行分配學位申請表」共三聯

身份證明文件副本

小五下學期及小六上學期學校成績表副本

兩個回郵信封連$2.2郵票,信封面須寫上學生姓名及地址

學生相片乙張(請貼於報名表格內)

 

4.校務處辦公時間:

星期一至五:上午7:30至下午6:00

星期六:上午7:30至下午2:00

星期日及公眾假期:休息

 

5.可供申請的自行分配中一學額︰40

學業成績20%

操行及態度20%

面試表現20%

活動及獎項10%

 

7.遞交申請表須知

每名學生只可向不多於兩所在《申請中一自行分配學位手冊》內列出的中學申請。 否則,其獲得自行分配學位的機會將會被取消。

基於公平原則,申請者毋須遞交小學校長推薦信。

為支持環保,申請者毋須遞交活動及獎狀副本,只須於面試時提供正本參考。

 

8.面試安排

本校將安排所有申請者面試。

面試日期:2024年3月3日(星期日)

面試通知:面試安排將於2024 年1 月 31 日(三)郵遞寄出

面試時間及形式:另函通知

面試內容:學科知識、對本校的認識及個人生活知識

 

9.有關自行分配學位正取學生的通知安排

根據教育局的指引,本校將於2024 年 3 月 27日( 三 )透過書面及電話通知所有正取學生的家長其子女已獲學校納入自行分配學位正取學生名單。

有關的通知安排不包括備取及落選學生,亦並非正式的派位結果。

所有參加派位學生均會於2024 年7 月 9 日 ( 二 )獲通知中學學位分配辦法下的派位結果(包括自行分配學位及統一派位結果)。



10.中一入學申請電子化

為配合「智慧政府」策略,教育局由2023年起將中一入學申請電子化。家長可以於2023年11月中旬開始登入「中一派位電子平台」。有關建立帳戶所需的啟動碼及相關查詢,請與貴子女就讀小學(適用於參加派位學生)聯絡。

家長可以於2023年11月中旬開始登記成為「中一派位電子平台」用戶及登入「中一派位電子平台」。

已使用「智方便+」登記成為「中一派位電子平台」用戶的家長,可透過「中一派位電子平台」遞交自行分配學位、統一派位及跨網派位(如適用)的申請。

已登記為「中一派位電子平台」用戶的家長,亦可透過電子平台查閱中學學位分配結果。

2024 Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA): Application for Secondary One Discretionary Places (Admission to Secondary 1 (S1) in September 2024)

 

 

 

1. Date of Distribution of Application Forms  

From now till 16th January, 2024 (Tuesday)

Applicants may obtain the Application Form in person at the school office during office hours or by downloading on our school website.

2. Details on Submission of the Application Form
    Date:  2nd to 16th January, 2024

 

3. The completed application form should be submitted with the following documents IN PERSON at the school office: 

The completed Application Form for S1

   Discretionary Place issued by the Education Bureau

Copy of the HKID card, birth certificate, or document(s) showing the date of birth and the identity of permanent residency in Hong Kong

Photocopies of P.5 & P.6 school report cards (P.5 – 2nd term; P.6 – 1st term)

TWO stamped ($2.2) self-addressed envelopes with the name and address of the applicant

A student photo (affixed on the Application Form)

 

4. Office hour

         Time:  (Mon-Fri) 7:30 am - 6:00 pm and (Sat) 7:30 am - 1:00 pm

         (Sunday & public holidays) Closed

 

5. Number of Discretionary School Places: 40

 

6. Criteria and Weighting

Position in the Rank Order List provided by the EDB: 30%

Academic Results: 20%

Conduct and attitude: 20%

Interview Performance: 20%

Extra-Curricular Activities and Awards: 10%

 

7. Notes on application submission

Each student may apply to not more than two participating secondary schools listed in the Handbook for Application for S1 Discretionary Places (DP), otherwise his/her chance of acquiring a DP will be forfeited.  

Based on the principle of fairness, recommendation letters from primary schools are NOT REQUIRED.

To be environmentally friendly, applicants are not required to submit photocopies of certificates or records of extra-curricular activities.  Please only bring along the relevant original documents to the interviews.

 

8. Details of the interview

All applicants will be invited to attend an interview.

Date:  3rd March 2024 (Sunday)

Notification:  The arrangement will be sent on 31st January, 2024 (Wednesday) by post

Time and Mode:  Applicants will receive an interview notification by post 

Content of the interview:  Knowledge in different subjects, knowledge about our school and personal life knowledge

 

9. Arrangements for notifying successful DP applicants

According to the EDB, our school will notify parents of successful applicants of their children’s inclusion in the Successful Lists for DP (not official notification by the EDB) by post and phone on 27th March, 2024.  

These notification arrangements are not applicable to reserve and unsuccessful applicants, nor are the notifications the allocation results.  

The official results of allocation will be released on 9th July, 2024 by the Education Bureau, including the DP and Central Allocation results.  

 

10. Digitalisation of S1 Admission

In line with the “Smart Government” strategy, the EDB has implemented digitalisation of S1 admission starting from 2023.  Parents may access the SSPA e-Platform starting from mid-November 2023.  For enquiries related to the activation code required for account creation, please contact your child’s attending primary school (applicable to participating students) or the SPA Section of the EDB (applicable to non-participating students).

Parents may register to be SSPA e-Platform users and login to the SSPA e-Platform starting from mid-November 2023

Parents who have registered as SSPA e-Platform users with "iAM Smart+" may submit the applications for DP, CA and Cross-Net Allocation (if necessary) via the SSPA e-Platform

Parents registered as users of the SSPA e-Platform may also view the allocation results via the SSPA e-Platform.
